Objectives

• To rehabilitate the disadvantaged children and the youth through support for education, guidance and counseling.
• To provide places for the children to practice and develop their talents.
• To build a life skill base for individuals especially children and the youth in order to enable them handle the challenges of life.
• To improve and promote food security in all households.
• To empower the children through providing education for them and creating income generating activities.
• To provide comprehensive educational skills to the interested members( youth and elderly) of the local community through training programs in various fields like Computer training ,tailoring ,bee keeping ,poultry ,welding ,hair dressing among others.
• To improve knowledge of the beneficiaries in practical skills and education that can make them entrepreneurs as well as empowering the youth who have got little or no chance of formal education with basic technical/vocational skills.
• To enhance life skills development through vocational studies foe self-reliance.(To be job creators other than job seekers).
• To steer the youth into entrepreneurship ,becoming independent and job creators for a working community.
• To build and develop capacities of the children and the youth in the community.
• To contribute in solving the problems of the children and the unemployed youth.
• To empower women in vulnerable situations with the necessary support to promote their full well-being and emotional development.
• To assist single mothers ,widows/women financially towards personal development.
• To help and facilitate the elderly.
• To make the elderly relevant to the day today work.
• To increase access to solar energy by rural poor families.
• To improving sanitation and hygiene poor families in the communities.
• To increase collaboration plans with other organizations, bodies or individuals whether national or international but having advocacy strategies for the similar cause as laid herein.
• BHOOP is very much aimed at empowering the children and the youth with the basic information communication technology (ICT) skills .This is really very important for the fact that with the growth of the ICT world, it is favorable for the youth to be equipped with basic computer knowledge thus competing with other youth from the outside world.
